You can find us on the First Floor of Northumbria Students Union, Its a brief walk from Haymarket Metro & Bus Station There are no parking facilities on site, However nearby sites can be found here

How much does it cost?

Admission is £8 (£3 discount for CAMRA Members)  (Early bird ticket holders got an additional £2 discount, Check next January for the 2025 festival!)

Glass Hire is £2 (Its yours to keep, or return it in good condition for a refund)

Tokens will be priced at £2.25 for a half of ale/ cider that less than 6% / 7% abv respectively, Thirds only beyond this ABV.

You can swap two. tokens for three third tokens if you’d like to sample ale/ cider that less than 6% / 7% abv respectively as thirds

Whats on?

 Beers

Local breweries from Tyneside and Northumberland have been invited to create either a Golden Ale or an entirely novel beer, adding a unique twist to the festivities.

 

Notable breweries, including Camper Van Brewery from Edinburgh

Hawkshead Brewing from Cumbria showcasing the first-ever pouring of Damson Saison for National Damson Day

Tiny Rebel Brewery from Newport Wales presenting a range of Chocolate beers for the Easter-themed event, will be among the highlights.

A diverse selection of a broad range of Cider and Perry

Recongised by CAMRAs National Cider officers as a excellent range and selection

Hat Day Come dressed in style and express yourself with headwear of your choice, lacking inspiration? our lovely friends at St Oswalds will be able to hook you up with a hat from their fine assortment

The entertainment continues with performances by renowned artists, including Rob Herron of teapad orchestra fame and the Byker hillbillies.

Friday’s lineup boasts appearances from The Steamboat Players, Ash Humble (Lead singer of Blistered Molly), Cover Clubs Acoustic Duo and the Monkseaton Morris will be performing Rapper (Sword) dances.

We have had some bad news and unfortunately due to illness we are champion can not perform tomorrow, we wish a speedy recovery and are as disappointed as you. However as freddy once said the show must go on!

Last Orders indicates when an annouced “Last orders at the Bar” which will run for 15 minutes, at which “Time at the Bar” will be called,

Bar service will cease. giving 30 minutes of drinking up time and time for glass returns etc.
