Dear festival goers,
My name is Gavin Younger, and I have the honour of once more being your Cider Bar Manager, and I’d like to welcome you to our bar.
As with last years festival, we are located in the main hall and will have 25 ciders and 5 perries for you to enjoy, We’ve selected a lot of cider that is new to the festival – more than half of the list – and in keeping with the ‘Celtic’ theme of this year’s festival, ciders from Cornwall, Wales, and Scotland. We hope you enjoy them – we are certainly looking forward to trying them.
Note that some of the ciders may be served in thirds – check in the programme and at the bar for details.
Staff wise, I am ably assisted by Michael Foreman, and Steven Clough as assistant / duty managers, and last (but by no means least), our other volunteers.
Remember that a lot of the cider on show is upwards of 6 or 7 % ABV, so do drink responsibly (especially if you are also sampling the beer!) and, as always, all of the staff are volunteers (we don’t get paid for any of this), so please be nice to us!!
